Work as a Data Scientist

For Data Scientists there are two ways of contributing, either task based or freestyle.

Check available tasks on our dework task board here.

Assign yourself to the tasks you want to do, make sure you read the description of the task.

Get in touch with reviewer and/or other ppl that work on this task. Join the weekly dataDAO work sessions (Tuesdays 14:00 UTC).

This is how a task on dework looks like.

Each data work gets between 30k - 70k in FVT.

The price for each new task is decided in the weekly dataDAO work sessions in accordance to the scope and level of the task.

Payments are made after successful submission and revision of the work at the end of the month.

In addition to this, each data work is eligible for a bonus. Check out how the bonus vote works here.

Freestyle work is anything a Data Scientist want to produce independently of the tasks.

There is no limitation, no expectations, go out and produce, experiment, have fun!

If you need help or want other ppl to collaborate with you, post your work on the dework task board here.

But you don't have to of course, you can just go ahead produce stuff and surprise us.

How to get rewarded

There are no fixed rewards for Freestyle data work paid by the dataDAO.

However, within the dataDAO we can potentially support you in getting external funding or grants.
