Preamble:

Crypto has gone through different evolutionary phases. In each phase, many people have been simultaneously working on finding solutions or innovations that move the space forward. There has been little comprehensive exchange of good practices or lessons learned among those different actors.Dos and Dont's were exchanged in a rather informal way via keynotes, workshops, meetups, podcast or bars. With the rise of decentralized governance, the need for systematic, fact-based analysis of those newest endeavors is more important than ever. DAOs, predictions markets, Quadratic Voting and other yet unknown crypto-based governance tools each form their own socio-economic experiment, while each might contribute to the crypto space in one way or another, additional value can be created if the lessons learned from each experiment are shared in a global, comprehensive and accessible way! One of the main objectives of the dataDAO should be the extract information from the newest DeGov experiments, evaluate and contextualize the information and communicate those findings in an easily comprehensible way, to make this newly generated knowledge available to everyone.
